We created this Privacy Statement to demonstrate our unwavering commitment to privacy, security and confidentiality. At any time, from any browser, you will be able to update, edit or delete any and all personally identifiable information. We will only collect and use personally identifiable information with your express consent and we will never share or sell personally identifiable information with any third parties.
 
Our goal is to continuously strive to protect your privacy, security and confidentiality, in a world where data is increasingly the currency of exchange.     Red Gorilla asks for your name, e-mail address and password hint to register for the service. This information provides you with a secure and private entrance for your account information and it enables Red Gorilla to retrieve misplaced login and password information at any time.
     
    Red Gorilla collects information such as your business name, address, zip code and other optional contact information to create invoices for your clients. For those who choose one of our premium services, we collect financial information to bill for those services.
     
    We also collect IP addresses and optional demographic information, such as business type, to help Red Gorilla better understand how our customers use the site. Based on user information and feedback, we will create new services. User information will help us continually provide excellent services that meet a broad range of needs.     In the interest of providing you with better, more personalized service, we use a feature known as a "cookie." Cookies contain bits of information that Web sites transfer to your computer's hard drive for record keeping purposes. Cookies can make the service more useful by storing information about your preferences. Although we may assign your browser a cookie, it doesn't tell us who you are. Only you can do that.
     
  • What does Red Gorilla do with your personal information?
     
    Red Gorilla collects personal information to provide you with the best and most personalized experience possible. This information is never shared or sold to third parties. In some instances personal information may be passed to Red Gorilla from our partners in order to automatically “log you in” to the website.
     
    Your information is shared with advertisers only on an aggregate basis (e.g. 30% of our customers are lawyers). We do not share any personal or contact information about our customers. Sharing aggregate information about our customers enables advertisers to reach a relevant audience with the right message, providing you, the user, with more relevant offers.
     
  • What if you purchase a premium service through Gorilla Time?
     
    You may purchase our premium services online or over the phone. To process your order, we need your credit card number and billing address. Orders processed via the web are fully encrypted, using Secure Socket Layers (SSL) technology.
     
    We will use this information to fulfill your order. We will not share it with anyone outside of Red Gorilla except for the banks and payment card processors necessary to complete the transaction. We may contact you regarding your order, should the need arise.
     
  • How does Red Gorilla use cookies and "IP Addresses"?
     
    Red Gorilla collects IP addresses for the purposes of system administration and for to better understand how people use our site so we can improve it.
     
    Most browsers are set up automatically to accept cookies. You can configure your browser to accept, refuse or notify you when you've received a cookie. If you reject cookies, you will be unable to use certain personalized features such as automatic log in. We cannot use cookies to find out who you. You have to tell us.
     
    Cookies are used on Red Gorilla in the following ways:
    1. If you enable your browser to accept cookies, we will use cookies to automatically access your account information when you log in to our site. We only do this if you explicitly choose this option. We provide this option to deliver a better and more personalized service.
       
    2. Cookies are used to estimate audience size and usage patterns. Usage patterns help determine future service and product upgrades, as well as help us to target ads based on aggregate user interests.
       
    3. Advertising networks that serve ads on our site may also use cookies. We have no control or access to those cookies. In addition, they do not have access to your Red Gorilla cookies.
       
     
  • Will Red Gorilla disclose any of your personal information?
     
    Red Gorilla will not disclose any information about individual users, except as described in this Privacy Statement, or to comply with applicable laws or valid legal process, or to protect the rights or property of Red Gorilla.
     
    Red Gorilla will not sell, rent, lend or give any individual information to our advertisers. We only provide our advertisers with aggregate information. For instance, we may tell advertisers that we have 80,000 registered small businesses but we will not provide them with the name or contact information of any of those businesses.
     
    Advertisers may approach Red Gorilla to request that a specific ad is shown only to specific audiences. We would then take the ad and display it to the proper audience, a benefit both to our users and our advertisers. The end result should be that you determine the type of ads you see by the information you share with us. This allows us to keep the advertising you see as relevant as possible without letting advertisers know who you are. Again, only you control that.
     
  • Will Red Gorilla use your information for direct mailings?
     
    When you register for Gorilla Time or sign up for our premium services, we will send you some getting started information to help you get the most out of our services.
     
    You will have opportunities to opt-in (or, sign-up) for direct mailings about special offers from Red Gorilla or tips to maximize the services we offer. Other than the bimonthly newsletter from Red Gorilla, you will not receive direct mailings from Red Gorilla unless you specifically request them.
     
    You can unsubscribe from the bimonthly newsletter or any opt-in e-mail you signed up for by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every e-mail message.
     
     
  • How can you deactivate your account? How can you correct or revise information that Red Gorilla has about you?
     
    To correct or update the information in your account profile, simply go to http://www.redgorilla.com/app/Administration?subsection=compinfo and log on. You will be able to make changes to your general information, your contact information and your billing information.
     
     
  • What information does Customer Service have access to?
     
    Red Gorilla customer service representatives only have access to transaction information that helps them respond to your questions. Red Gorilla limits access to the minimum information necessary to provide prompt, high quality service. For example, these Red Gorilla customer service representatives generally only see the last four numbers of your credit card information. The only time they should require more information is if there is a problem with the transaction, for example if the credit card is not approved for some unforeseen reason.
     
    Red Gorilla Customer Service representatives may need contact information to verify answers to the questions you ask. This information is only used to serve you and never shared with any third parties.
